Conspiracy?

Abiotic fuel believer, overlooked member of the Top 100 list, and peak oil critic Joe Vialls has "died".

We will have to run some deep core samples to confirm this....

I'm embarrassed to admit he is (or, apparently, was) from my hometown - never met him though.

If you're going to continue your imitation of RI you should have come up with some random facts that support your conspiracy theory though.

Israel about to pull out of Gaza. Joe V dies. Coincidence ?

(that's sarcasm by the way for anyone who might take it the wrong way)

One of my earliest peak oil site trawls (Dry Dipstick I think) led me to Joe, whom they labelled "a passionate proponent of abiotic oil". It certainly was a good way of putting the case for abiotic oil theorists being much crazier than peak oil theorists.

And that was one of his more lucid rants...

He "died" so he could go deep cover in one of the settlements.

Yeah, that's the ticket.
