Wha' happen?

Documentary: Who killed the electric car?

Hillary Clinton steps up and triangulates on energy policy.

But George W. Bush continues on with his idiotic reign, flaunting his pure child-like stupidity:
"We're spending your money again on research to help fund breakthroughs for battery technologies that will enable you to drive a plug-in hybrid battery."

"You can liquefy natural gas, you can put it in a ship, and you can send it long distances and still have an economic product. And there are places in this world where there's a lot of natural gas -- a lot. And they're building liquefied production facilities. And they put them on these ships -- but we don't have any places to offload it in the United States. We got some, but not enough."

Oddly, Bush neglected to mention that Iran and Russia are the two countries with largest NG reserves. Mabe he just forgot.

Not a bad 'speech', covered the waterfront on energy pretty well. Seems the repugs are aware they are being blamed for rising gas prices. Sorry to say, but if Bush plays the energy card right and takes the opportunity to provide relentless leadership in this area, he could come out smelling more like a rose than the disasterous turd that he is.
